The NPORS N404 Safe Working at Height Course is meticulously designed to equip delegates with fundamental knowledge in Working at Height, adhering to the official NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) Standard.
Throughout this comprehensive training, delegates will achieve the following objectives:
- Gain a foundational understanding of the industry, including its inherent risks, and their obligations when operating at height.
- Define the concept of height work, recognise associated hazards, and outline essential measures for hazard control.
- Identify common causes of accidents in work at height scenarios.
- Learn to establish exclusion zones, understand emergency protocols, and identify overhead hazards.
- Recognise, select, and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suitable for working at height.
- Demonstrate safe working practices at height and articulate potential safety concerns.

Other Details:
Delegates are required to arrive at the training venue 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for registration.
A full charge will be applied for delegates who fail to attend without prior notice.
Restrictions:
Delegates attending this course must be at least 18 years old and are obligated to inform their trainer of any significant health issues, physical limitations, special considerations, or medication use that may affect their ability to complete aspects of the training course.
